Study skills and revision
Students at LAT16 attend bespoke workshops to develop study skills that will help them to succeed in post 16 and beyond. There is a wide array of academic support including mentoring, after school and holiday revision to ensure everyone achieves their full potential.
This varies from campus to campus but every student is given the opportunity to engage in work-related learning, some of which is based in industry.
Educational visits and exchanges
We view these opportunities as integral to your success. Students take part in diverse educational experiences including volunteering in an African orphanage, geography and science trips, cultural visits in the UK and abroad as well as trips to the theatre and art exhibitions in London.
Our professional partners
We have an impressive portfolio of business and industry contacts, as well as links with universities and other organisations. A large number of LAT16 students progress on to university, including Russell Group Universities, with others taking jobs and apprenticeships in fields such as engineering, accountancy, medicine and leisure.
Sports on offer include basketball, football, netball and tennis. Goals is located at the Leigh Campus where students can also become part of the Dartford Football Academy. This exciting opportunity allows students to combine their passion for football with a programme of post 16 study.
