In the last week of the summer term Post 16 students enjoyed a few great days out, giving us all a chance to spend some quality time together, and strengthen the already good relationships between tutors and students.
Our first trip was to Eagle Heights where students enjoyed watching the bird of prey show, and playing with the huskies. Our second trip was to London’s South Bank. It was a beautiful sunny day, and for some of our students the best part was being trapped in the fountains!

In the first term in 2016 Dom Education Group visited and delivered a great financial capability session to our Post 16 students. Students took part in workshops focused on developing positive spending habits, effective budget planning, credit scoring and how AER & APR work.

Every year the Business Studies department take students to Colchester Zoo as a key part of the course. Students attend workshops on market research and make lots of notes for their coursework, but of course they aso get time to look around at all the animals.
